The rapid development of automotive electronics in recent years has fundamentally changed the functionality and structure of vehicle technology. Digital information exchange, functional networking of ECUs (distributed functions), as well as the increasing networking of the vehicle with the environment and the manufacturers shape the electronic interior of modern motor vehicles.
Due to the wide range of police tasks, technological change requires new ways to meet the different tactical requirements and to protect police's own ICT. However, these different needs of police work should be viewed as a whole. Standardization, process generation, legal certainty, data protection and more than ever your own professional skills and responsibilities are some of the challenges that need to be reassessed.
