Video and Photo Intelligence and Security 2025
This conference will be continued again on April 3, 2025 as part of GPEC® digital 2025
When security authorities use video and photo technology, recording and analysis are primarily about prevention and education, and increasingly about documentation. The possibilities for combating, solving and preventing crime are becoming increasingly important in Germany and many other countries today. Recording thanks to various sensor solutions and evaluation using sophisticated video analysis, artificial intelligence and "deep learning" can significantly improve internal security, as can the recording and analysis of photos, e.g. facial and project recognition. The evaluation of mass data is an important chapter in police work anyway. Video surveillance in public spaces is part of the comprehensive overall security concepts.
This conference "Video and Photo Intelligence and Security 2025", which focuses specifically on the requirements of the police and the judiciary, is dedicated to these topics and serves to inform the security authorities about new technologies, supporting systems, evaluation of and research in video and photo recordings, the relevance of the technologies for practice and their functionalities. The conference will address new technical possibilities and discuss practical implementation based on current projects, and present possible solutions with technology providers at the trade fair. It will also help to find ways to permanently dispel public and legal concerns.
Moderation: Reiner Paul, EPHK a.D., Head of the Image Transmission Department of the Saxony Police
