Workshop Drones (UAS): FLIGHT OPERATIONS WITH DRONES – WAYS TO A CONFLICT-FREE PARTNERSHIP WITH MANNED AVIATION
Drone / UAV / UAS is one of the big topics these days. Unmanned, remote-controlled or programmed aircraft are both a threat and a useful authority (BOS) tool today.
Drone technology has developed versatile aircraft in a breathtakingly short time and is encountering a large number of potential users, including in the BOS area.
Without a drone traffic system (UTM) networked with the traffic system of manned aviation, commercial or official flight operations cannot develop using all potential.
The workshop provides an up-to-date overview of flight management systems for drone flights beyond the visual range of a long-distance pilot (BVLOS), measures taken by aviation authorities and new regulations and concepts for growing flight operations with drones in BVLOS mode. The focus is on the requirements of the authorities.
